It’s the start of a new semester!
This semester I’m packed pretty lightly. Aside from my handbag and any meals, I only have a small handful of things I need for my classes.
First off, there’s my two Japanese books. One is a workbook, the other a textbook.
Then, there’s my Kuru-toga mechanical pencil, a pack of refill lead, and a big eraser. I find my pens work great with just me, but under the pressure of a second person watching it or reading what I write, there’s ink EVERYWHERE. 😅 I’ve also found that teachers prefer pencil over pen, but if my hand cramps, I’m fetching my Kaweco out of my handbag!
Then, there’s a a blank notebook. I bought it a whole ago at the Dollar Store. I’m trying to finish things off before I buy a replacement notebook.
Some teachers hate my Kindle, others don’t mind at all. I don’t give a rip either way. It’s a Paperwhite, not a gaming device after all. The internet is crap on it as well- it’s only good for connecting to Wi-Fi hotspots to sync up to Amazon. I bought the two books I needed for my workshop class on my Kindle during the huge snowstorm a few weeks ago. For once I don’t need to wait for paper books to be delivered to me. 😥
My backpack is a Kenneth Cole Reaction bag, thrifted off of Poshmark.
My Japanese teacher(this is my second semester) prefers homework to be on full sized sheets of paper so I’ll need to put some computer paper in a folder for easy access.
Other than the paper and maybe a vial of spare fountain pen ink I think I’m set for the next semester!
